Gloria Ferrer came to me, looking for a fresh idea for their 2014 Holiday print advertising. They were looking to bring more lifestyle to the brand, moving away from the traditional ads that have a bottle shot in front and a vineyard in the back and add a little more sparkle. The ads would be featured in Food & Wine, Sunset, Glamour and Wine Spectator magazines.
The objectives were to:
1) Feature provocative, interesting imagery. Explore aspirational images of holiday parties.
2) Come up with a simple tagline that embodies the way to live the glorious life
The final design features a festive, feminine image that appeals to their demographic and portrays the idea of adding glamour to holiday celebrations. Some “sparkle” was added to the image to tie in with the look of their Holiday POS campaign. The simple tagline, “Live Gloriously” was turned into a sort of emblem, incorporating the Gloria Ferrer logo, brand fonts and colors.
